Tareyn Stomberg is a member of the Crookston Student Association.

Student senators and officers were announced for the Crookston Student Association for fall semester 2017 at the University of Minnesota Crookston.

This year's 2017-18 new Crookston Student Association (CSA) senators are Tori Koch, a sophomore from Bemidji, Minn., majoring in animal science; Leanna Haugen, a junior from Argyle, Minn., majoring in agricultural business; Sydney Berg, a junior from Middle River, Minn., majoring in agricultural business; Skyler Seigel, a freshman from Wheaton, Minn., majoring in communication; and Corey Mathies, a freshman from Watkins, Minn., majoring in natural resources.

CSA officers include President Dalton Javner, a junior from Hardwick, Minn., majoring in health sciences; Vice President Benjamin Koisti, a sophomore from Lake Norden, South Dakota, majoring in golf and turf management; Secretary Maggie Mills, a sophomore from Lake City, Minn., majoring in communication and animal science; Treasurer Caleb Rempel, a sophomore from Mountain Lake, Minn., majoring in agricultural education; Student Senate Consultative Committee Representative Ethan Johnson, a sophomore from Roseau, Minn., majoring in business; Student Programming and Activities for Campus Entertainment Chair Bethany Novak, a sophomore from Dahlen, N.D., majoring in business; and Board of Regents Representative Marta Dean, a sophomore from Dellwood, Minn., majoring in agriculture business.

The University of Minnesota Crookston Student Association is the governing organization for the student body. Director of Student Activities and the Sargeant Student Center Lisa Samuelson serves as the staff advisor, and Assistant Professor Eddie Walker from the Business Department serves as the faculty advisor for the organization.

The Crookston campus believes students should have input on campus committees. Part of the duties of student members of the Crookston Student Association is to participate on campus committees representing the voice of the student body.
