Harrison Cleary, Oak Creek, WI, named Merit Scholar at the U of M Crookston

A scholarship brunch was held for incoming Merit Scholarship recipients at the University of Minnesota Crookston.

Area student Harrison Cleary, Oak Creek, WI, who is planning to major in Sport & Recreation Management was invited to attend the brunch and register for fall semester classes.

The group was welcomed to campus by Chancellor Fred Wood and Barbara Keinath, vice chancellor for academic affairs. Assistant Professor Danielle Johannesen shared information with these high achieving students about the Honors Program on campus, and students had an opportunity to have their photo taken with campus mascot, Regal the Golden Eagle.
